On a routine divorce case, Thomas Magnum glimpses a woman aboard a passing boat—Michelle, his Vietnam War bride, presumed dead in a bombing raid seven years ago. Armed only with blurry photos from the fleeting sighting, he enlists T.C. and Rick, whose skepticism wanes as they scour Hawaii’s shores for her. But shadowy forces conspire to keep Michelle beyond his reach, and their search spirals into a deadly web of political intrigue.
