Magnum, P.I.

The Taking of Dick McWilliams

Aired Dec 3, 1981 · 12:30 AM ET · 45 min

When the Japanese wife of Magnum’s old friend hires him to rescue her kidnapped husband—a now-wealthy tycoon held for a $500,000 ransom—she demands secrecy to hide the crisis from her disapproving father. Tasked with delivering the payment, Magnum dives into the shadows of the deal, only to unravel a web of deception where nothing about the abduction is as it seems.
