During the explosion one wall of the shed James built is smashed. After this happens May steps out of the shed with a plank of wood, and asks what time the programme will air. After being informed it was going to air after the watershed, he exclaims 'you're a fu-'. At this point, the episode cuts to the next scene. Just what will motoring be like in a post apocalyptic world that's been blown to bits by nuclear bombs or a massive comet? It's a burning question that's on literally nobody's mind, and we give you all the answers in this brand new, incredibly cheerful Top Gear DVD. Embarking on a terrifying journey into the future, we show you how to drive to work in the perpetual darkness of a Nuclear Winter, how to make motor sport exciting when there's only two racing drivers left alive, and, in a world where all cars are bristling with weapons, how to survive the savage, explosive fury of a Doomsday M.O.T test. And amongst all the nuclear carnage, we also tackle the ultimate petrolhead's dilemma - what cars would you take for a final drive if there was only one barrel of petrol left on the planet? The explosions are huge, the cars are superb, so relax and enjoy. PS. This frightening vision of a post nuclear world is backed up by top scientists, in case you think it's us just cocking about.

Jeremy Clarkson and James May set out to find the worst car in the history of the world — but with one key rule: it has to be an expensive car from a manufacturer that really should have known better. Cheap Eastern European rust buckets or obvious low-budget disasters don't count. They review and roast various contenders (including the FSO Polonez, some odd Jeep copies, Ferrari Mondial, Ford GT for weird reasons, and others), but ultimately crown the Lexus SC 430 (2001–2010 model, known in some markets as Toyota Soarer) as the worst car in the history of the world. The special ends with a symbolic "prize" for the loser: handing the car over to Richard Hammond to destroy/play with as scrap.
